A skilful and inspirational presence in midfield, Jugovic has amassed a magnificent medal collection playing for Europe’s top clubs. He won the European Champion Clubs’ Cup and the league title in his first season with FK Crvena Zvezda, and also tasted success with Sampdoria UC before joining Juventus FC. His triumphant record continued as he scored the winning penalty in Juve’s 1995/96 UEFA Champions League final win over AFC Ajax, and he also won the scudetto and the UEFA Super Cup. At club level, he has since played for S.S. Lazio, Club Atlético de Madrid and now Internazionale FC. A natural in the holding role in midfield, he is a hard worker with an eye for goal. Excellent in the tackle, he is also a fine passer and a selfless runner off the ball.
