Western
Very common, among younger talent on the forehand side, resulting in a lot of topspin. There is a significant adjustment between forehand and backhand because it is very unorthodox to hit a backhand with a Western grip.
A way of holding the racket particularly for topspin forehand strokes. In this grip the ball of the thumb rests on the top right-hand edge of the handle.
