Sang-chul Yoo, the authoritative deep-lying captain of South Korea, can hold a midfield together, defend when necessary and score vital goals. A regular international since making his debut against the United States in March 1994, he gained experience in the 1994 Asian Games and the 1996 Asian Cup. His development peaked during France '98 and all Korea will be hoping that he can continue through to 2002 and again make the lists of outstanding individuals in the World Cup.
